- Will I have a tour guide?
-
Yes, escorted packages will have tour guides on hand for the whole weekend to make sure you enjoy every step of your holiday. The packages are not 'strict', so if you want to do your own thing, knowing that the hosts are there if you need them, then that's fine. The hosts are there to offer support and guidance, not to make you stick to a regimented timetable!
Independent packages do not include Tourmoto hosts.

Money: Payment and protection
- Is my money protected once I pay for my holiday?
-
According to the 1992 Package Travel, Package Holiday and Package Tours Regulations, customer monies must be protected by means of a trust account, bond or insurance. This means if the tour operator becomes insolvent, the customer is protected and doesn't lose their money should the holiday be cancelled.
A package is 3 or more items, sold at an inclusive price. Therefore, the escorted packages are a 'package' but the independent packages are not. Nevertheless, Tourmoto protects monies of all customers, whether escorted or independent.

-
ATOL is mandatory for tour operators providing packages that include flights.
Tourmoto can source flights on your behalf from Premier Travel, but the booking is made between the customer and Premier Travel. Premier Travel is protected by ABTA and has Independent Passenger Protection.
